The Archaeological Museum

Via Francesco Domenico Guerrazzi, 57023 Cecina LI

The Archaeological Museum of Cecina is located inside the park of Villa Guerrazzi, 4 km far from the center of Cecina.

By car: from Florence: take the S.G.C. Florence – Pisa – Livorno, then take the A12 highway (gate of Collesalvetti, towards Rosignano M.mo). Exit at Rosignano M.mo’s gate and drive along the E80 road (towards Rome) as far as Cecina Nord gate. Drive as far as S. Pietro in Palazzi along the SR68 and turn left in Via Aurelia Nord/SP 39. Turn right in Piazza dei Mille and then left in via Fratelli Bandiera, going on towards Cecina. Finally turn right into Via Francesco Guerrazzi, as far as the Museum;

from Livorno, take the Via Aurelia/SS1 towards Rosignano M.mo. Exit at Rosignano M.mo gate and drive along the E80 road (towards Rome) as far as Cecina Nord gate. Drive as far as S. Pietro in Palazzi along the SR68 and turn left in Via Aurelia Nord/SP 39. Turn right in Piazza dei Mille and then left in via Fratelli Bandiera, going on towards Cecina. Finally turn right into Via Francesco Guerrazzi, as far as the Museum;

from Volterra, take the SR68 towards Cecina. At S. Pietro in Palazzi turn left in Via Aurelia Nord/SP39. Turn right in Piazza dei Mille and then left in via Fratelli Bandiera, going on towards Cecina. Finally turn right into Via Francesco Guerrazzi, as far as the Museum;

from Rome, take the A12 highway as far as Civitavecchia, then go on driving along the Aurelia/E80 as far as Cecina Nord gate. At S. Pietro in Palazzi turn left in Via Aurelia Nord/SP 39. Turn right in Piazza dei Mille and then left in via Fratelli Bandiera, going on towards Cecina. Finally turn right into Via Francesco Guerrazzi, as far as the Museum;

By train: Pisa-Rome train line – Cecina train station;

By bicycle: from Cecina you can reach the museum by bike, following the cycle lane along Viale della Repubblica, then turning right in Via Sforza, going on across the river Cecina along Via Volterra. Turn right again at the roundabout in Via Francesco Guerrazzi and bike as far as the Museum.

 

The Archaeological Park of San Vincenzino

Via Carlo Ginori, 33, 57023 Cecina LI

The Archaeological Park is located in Via Carlo Ginori, in Cecina, less than 1 km far from the city center, and 3.5 km far from the Archaeological Museum.

by car: from the Archaeological Museum drive along via Francesco Guerrazzi towards Vada and turn left at the roundabout in via Volterra. Once over the Cecina river bridge, turn left again in Via Carlo Ginori, going on as far as the Archaeological Park.

by train: Pisa-Rome train lane – Cecina train station;

by bicycle: from Cecina is possible to reach the Archaeological Park by bike. Follow the cycle lane along Via Carlo Cassola, going on as far as the crossroad with Via Carlo Ginori; then turn left and bike as far as the Archaeological Park.
